Day 2
Today is officially our first interview day. In the morning, we took subway to Washington square park for interview. It’s a sunny day and everyone in the park seem to be in good mood. I was so nervous at first because I don’t know how to react when we got rejected. But surprisingly, our interview process went pretty well. The First Lady that I interviewed was a 20-year-old teenage girl who’s sitting on the bench. We had a lighthearted conversation about her love story and it brightened up my mood and felt more encouraged to interview other people. Then we interviewed some other teenage girls, an old man, an elderly mom and her daughter, some couples and so on. After we had lunch, we went to a park called dumbo under the Brooklyn bridge and did more interviews in the afternoon. As we got more comfortable talking to people, we found the process exciting and relaxing. After that, we went to the lounge and looked back on the video clips that we got today and talked about the ways we wanna improve and started to edit the clips.
Work hours: 2.5 hours of interview in the morning
3 hours of interview in the afternoon
3 hours of discussions and editing
